Antonio Aldana is highly qualified for his position as Trainer and Ranch Manager. His experience reaches all the way back to his graduation with a degree in Agriculture/Animal and Veterinarian Services (CONALEP), his apprenticeship with an Equine and Large Animal veterinarian in Jalisco, Mexico, and his most recent long-term position as Trainer with Tul's Friesians.
Having received his License and Driving certification from the American Four-in-Hand Society (Dr. Leslie Kozsely), Antonio is highly qualified to start horses in front of the carriage. He has a long history of producing winning Single and Pair, Tandem, Unicorn, and Four-in-Hand teams. He is also highly experienced in starting horses under saddle and competing successfully in Dressage.
Antonio understands the mind of the horse. He is quiet and patient with each animal, and approaches each individual according to its specific needs. He does not have a "cookie-cutter" approach. Each horse is different, and he works to bring out the best of what each horse offers. He is quiet in his work, with quiet hands and a steady seat.
Antonio's expertise and judgment are the best available when considering a Breeding or Training facility for your Friesian or Friesians. He is fully proficient to prepare the young horse for Foalboek or Stamboek entry, the mature individual for Ster, Model, or Stallion Central-Proving consideration, to provide full training and experience in the Dressage arena, in front of the carriage, in the show or in the Parade.
Antonio has the expertise and patience to instruct the new rider, or sharpen the abilities of the experienced rider. He also has all the knowledge and experience to teach you the discipline of Driving, for pleasure or for competition.
